Details: Seismic evaluation and structural earthquake retrofitting of Topkapi Palace, Imperial Kitchens, located at 1st degree earthquake zone. Project required non-destructive field testing and development of alternative retrofitting schemes. The least destructive and most innovative structural retrofitting methods were developed to retrofit the more than 500 years old masonry historical structure.

 

Project Name: Marmaray Project, Blast Analysis and Calculation of Blast Loads Inside The Train Stations.

Location: Istanbul, Turkey.

Client: GAMA-Nurol JV.

Details: Source of the TBM design explosion load was identified and its effect on station members calculated.

 

Project Name: 34th Regiment Area, Mihail Kogalniceanu Military Base, Romania.

Location: Constanta, Romania.

Client: Framaco - Epik - Metis JV for United States Army Corps of Engineers.

Details: Served as design of record, providing structural and civil engineering services and construction support for this military base construction. 22,000,000 euro project included 35 buildings (a mix of pre-engineered buildings, panelized buildings, reinforced concrete buildings, and CMU buildings) and total of 18,000 sq. m closed space.
